Boris Kim

Boris Kim

Boris Kim has served as our chief executive officer since January 2020, before this he served as chairman of our Board of Directors from June 2014 to January 2020. Mr. Kim is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the payment services industry. During his career, he held top roles in Russian banks. Mr. Kim is one of the co-founders of the e-port payment system and served as its Chief Executive Officer from November 2004 until September 2007 and from September 2007 until February 2010 was an advisor to the chief executive officer of e-port. From 2007 until 2012 Mr. Kim was the head of the payment networks and banking instruments committee at the Russian E-Market Participants National Association. From 2017 until 2018 Mr. Kim was an executive director at Association for Development of Financial Technologies. Mr. Kim graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1985 with a degree in chemistry, Russian Institute of Finance and Economics in 1996 with a degree in finance, Moscow State Law Academy in 2000 with a degree in law and Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2004 and in 2007 with a degree in psychology and a degree in philosophy respectively. He holds a Candidate of Sciences Degree in Chemistry (Lomonosov Moscow State University, 1989).

Andrey Protopopov

Andrey Protopopov

Mr. Andrey Protopopov has served as our head of IT and product since June 2015, before this he served as head of product management from September 2013 to June 2015. Mr. Protopopov has over 12 years of commercial and product managing experience. Before joining QIWI, Mr. Protopopov worked at Procter & Gamble for 12 years, holding numerous positions in market strategy and planning as well as business development. Mr. Protopopov graduated from Novosibisrsk State University in 2004 with a masters degree in mathematics.

Oleg Ryazhenov-Sims

Oleg Ryazhenov-Sims

Mr. Oleg Ryazhenov-Sims has been serving as CEO of Sovest since May, 2016. He started his career in 1997 as Customer Service Director with Publicis. Between 2001 and 2003, he was Executive Director of the Publishing House Afisha. In 2004, he took up the position of Director General of the Publishing House Sobaka and Head of the magazine TimeOut. Since 2009, he has been working for Svyaznoy, first as Director for Direct Sales and then as Vice President for Strategic Marketing and Development. In spring 2016, he joined the QIWI Group as the leader of the new project Sovest.

Mr. Ryazhenov-Sims graduated from the Voronezh State University. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Management from Oxford Brookes University.

Alexander Agakov
Head of Payment Services, Sales
Alexander Agakov

Mr. Alexander Agakov has served as our Head of Payment Services, Sales since 2017. He had also been acting as our Executive Director since 2013 till 2016 before he moved to RURU company which is also a payment services provider in 2016. Alexander had joined OSMP CJSC as a vice-president of operations and development in Russia and CIS in 2007 and then held different position in OSMP CJSC and QIWI. Mr. Agakov has over 15 years of experience in commerce.

Mr. Agakov graduated from MSI (International Slavic Institute) in 2004 with a degree in Economics.

Kirill Ermakov
CTO
Kirill Ermakov

Mr. Kirill Ermakov has served as our Chief Technology Officer since 2015. Before this he had been acting as Chief Information Security Officer since 2013. Mr. Ermakov has over 10 years of experience in IT and over 7 years of practical information security. Before joining QIWI, Mr. Ermakov had worked in information security sector and was a Senior Information Security Researcher of Positive Technologies. During his security career he has founded a world known open security database Vulners (vulners.com).

Mr. Ermakov graduated from MIREA (Russian Technological University) in 2009 with a master degree in Mathematics and Information Security.

Varvara Kiseleva
Interim CFO
Ms. Varvara Kiseleva has served as our Interim Chief Financial Officer since October 2019. Previously, she served as a Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Capital Markets and Head of Investor Relations since April 2015. Ms. Kiseleva has joined QIWI in September 2013. Before joining QIWI, Ms. Kiseleva worked at Macquarie Russian Infrastructure Fund and KPMG. Ms. Kiseleva graduated from National Research University Higher School of Economics in 2012 with a masters degree in banking.
Maria Panferova

Maria Panferova
Ms. Maria Panferova has served as our general counsel since April 2003. Ms. Panferova has over 12 years of experience in law. She has been with us since our inception. Ms. Panferova is also a director of legal policy and strategic communications in Qiwi-Service JSC, a position she has held since October 2012. From November 2010 until September 2012, she was a vice president for legal policy and strategic communications at OSMP. She also serves on the board of directors of OJSC United Art Tickets, a position she has held since June 2006. Previously, Ms. Panferova was a deputy chairman of the management board and a general counsel of Russian Investment Club CJSC (subsequently renamed as JSCB First Processing Bank (CJSC) and Qiwi Bank), between April 2003 and November 2010. Ms. Panferova graduated from the Saint Petersburg Institute for International Economic Relations, Economics and Law in 2001 with a degree in law.
Maria Shevchenko

Maria Shevchenko
Ms. Maria Shevchenko has served as our Chief Operating Officer since January 2020. She is also currently a member of the board of directors of Qiwi Bank. Ms. Shevchenko joined us as a Government Relations Counsel in January 2019. Prior to that, she worked at Alfa-Bank JSC holding top positions in business strategy and operations. Ms. Shevchenko graduated from All-Russian Distance-Learning Institute of Finance and Economics (now part of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation) in 1998 with a degree in banking and finance. In 2005, she received an MBA-Finance from Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS (Institute) – London Metropolitan University.
